Terrible rain, hard to drive, around Middletown just before that. From one extreme to the other...I wanted rain, but all that at once?

Didn't expect the storm till 7 hit heavy rain in Shelton.

Driving through Waterbury on the Town Plot side it's a mess of downed trees and wires. Lot of debris from the rain.

1:45-5:45pm loop. I marked where West Simsbury is. Focus on that as it loops. They got nothing yet. lol. Drizzling now though.

Watch Chester go from 90° to 73° in matter of an hour or so

I'm only at 0.15" while Greenwich probably got over 1".

Thank You front!

Record lows are outpacing record highs in the U.S and another record low happened in MN yesterday. I wonder if that's a sign that type of cold will be hitting Connecticut. Maybe not this time, but maybe in Fall?

Panorama of temps this morning August 1, 2019. Feels like 37° on Mt Washington. Nice fall-like 40s in WI, MI, Ontario. Still warm 70s along the coasts.

Bridgeport 70° but 60s in the burbs here and it feels nice! I don't mind 60s in the morning right now! As long as it stays under 80 I'm fine in summer.

I'm seeing something in 10 days that would help us breathe!!!!!! Can't wait! Both models show an Upper Low from Canada coming over the region.

FYI......

Oct 14, 2018: Low of 39° Wood Stove lit for 1st time.
Oct 17, 2018: 1st Frost
Oct 19, 2018: 33° low, Thicker Frost, soil into 40s.
Oct 22, 2018: Coldest of season below freezing

Only 2.5 mths from now. Not that far away.

We're down to 5:46 AM and 8:07 PM for sunrise and sunset now. Welcome to August, I guess? A loss of 31 minutes in the morning and 23 minutes in the evening since June 21st (54 minutes traded back to winter?).

Looks like it'll be warm today, but the dew point should be OK. It was about 57 at last check for New Britain's 06052.

Wouldn't this be something for August?????? Dip after Dip after Dip!!

This would mean no heat waves, no 90s, no upper 80s. Cooler mornings. Next 2 weeks.

Please let this come true!

(Look at the "lines" and how they are pointing, see how it dips south?)
