Hi, all -

I'm considering a Bridgeport area job opportunity, and was wondering if you knowledgeable folks could help me guesstimate what I might expect a reasonable salary offer for a Librarian (with MLS) entry level position to be for that area.

I know what the CLA recommends, just wondering how much the reality is likely to match up with that. I'd be relocating from the Boston area.

Thanks in advance!

What type of library is it: public, academic, corporate, or some other? From what I've seen (and this is a huge generalization), MLS salaries are higher in CT than other New England states, but there can be a wide range depending on the type of library.

In that case I'd guesstimate that it would be right around the CLA recommendation. Good luck!!
