They did say a lot of it would be rain. Or "wintry mix". So a bust seemed far more likely than not from the start.

It wasn't a bust for most of the state. Around Farmington we had about 4" and it was a mess, like cement. Last night I went out and smashed a few inches of ice off the windshield and if I hadn't I would have been in trouble this morning. It just kept snowing and snowing all day. The parking lot at the grocery store wasn't even plowed very well and that cement type snow is slippery. My friend fell. No more snow!

4-8pm Loop.


Filled in nicely over Connecticut. All stations except 2 reporting snow now.


Bands coming in from the Atlantic into MA/NH that will drop into CT overnight.

BDL reporting Heavy Snow with 1/4 mile visibility and NNW wind gusts over 25mph and feels like 16°F.


Snowing in New Haven with 1/2 mile visibility.


Purple banding showing up across CT now. (30dbz+)
