Hello ColdMountain, I would like to know how has been your experience in Langdon Quarters. How are schools and convenience to shooping and regular day-to-day activities, and commute to Hartford. As we too are looking for houses in South Windsor, Farmington area. Both of us work in Hartford. Please share your experience.

So far so good..Very good community,Quality construction. Convenient to shopping , I do most of my shopping in Bristol..which is close enough - Shops include Walmart, Shoprite,Sears,Homedepot .As far as the commute goes, I dont take Rte 4 and prefer Rte 6..Although its filled with lights ..I'am waiting for the spring to come, so that I can take my bike to the trail !!

Hi ColdMountain,

I too am looking to possibly purchase at Langdon and was wondering if you had any further information since it looks like you have been living there for a while now. My biggest concerns are traffic on Rt 4 with my husband commuting to Hartford and the size of the lots (I currently live in Hebron on 2.5 acres). Do you feel like you have your privacy? How are the neighbors? Do you still enjoy living there/would you buy there again? What are the pros and cons? Thanks for your feedback! Hopefully your neighbor soon...

I don't think this poster is on the boards anymore. I can tell you though that if you are use to living on a large lot, that area may feel tight. The lots are pretty small and the homes close together. Jay
