I went on one a 3.5 star Carnival cruise. I was thoroughly disappointed. During the entire cruise, the pool was drained. Passengers repeatedly asked when it would be filled, and each day were told "tomorrow." Finally on the next to last day they admitted it would not be filled. As a result, the kiddie pool, which was tiny, wound up being congested and nasty. The entertainment was boring or silly--a lot of second rate (if that) stuff. The food was okay, not great. I will never go on another Carnival cruise again.

How is this for entertainment on Carnival Lines

I have always sailed on RCCL and found that line good. Carnival was more a party ship.
Anyway, I did like rccl, and the little sun viking, small, and long gone-it got you into the best ports, and was a great ship!
