im not sure how exactly to psychoanalyze those with the need to say "she's not that hot." im sure they are all major league stud muffins. whatever her level of attractiveness, it seems to be getting attention that is unwanted by some. im sure its primarily a jealousy issue coming from other players. i think its best to ignore their complaints.
There's nothing to psychoanalyze. She's just not that hot. Simple as that.

the point isnt relevant. there is something going on in the heads of people that feel the need to critique her level of hotness.
Why? Is there also something going on in the heads of people who feel the need to point out someone's beauty?
I mean, if a discussion is brought up about somebody's looks being distracting (the point of the article), I think it's natural for readers to determine whether or not they personally think said person is attractive enough to warrant such a discussion.

its always natural to notice someone's attractiveness. but its not relevant to the discussion so people who feel the need to post about it have their own issues. in this case, i guess there is some kind of resentment for someone getting credited for attractiveness which maybe they dont get for themselves.
I do think she is beautiful, but so what? No one said Anna Kournikova was too distracting too play tennis, and she was drop-dead gorgeous. They just said she got too much focus by tennis media when she wasn't really even that good, and much better players weren't getting covered, and I do think that was true at the time.
Things are getting ridiculous.
And how nice it is for the other players, who must feel they're not beautiful since they're OK to play volleyball...
