If local government needs a "reboot" it is because those saying it decided that it wasn't worth their time or effort to get involved in the first place and now have decided that they can protest instead.
How many of those protesting were actively involved in anything but their own lives and left everything to someone else to figure out?
Using your own quote.
Protests are a great way to "reboot" local governments & give them one last chance to fix whatever they've broken.
Don't you think these protests should be made by the civilized people directed at the black families who raise their kids to behave in that manor.
His parents should be slapped silly, oops I forgot, the father left as usual.

And (hopefully) step 2, (if there is a real problem) is the ballot box, where the now-awakened public tosses their local leaders out on their behinds. That's a best case scenario..
The danger with a militarized police force clamping down on legitimate protests is that the public may move on to step 3 (the ammo box) if they believe their votes won't make a difference. According to the police reports, some already have. It won't take many people doing that to completely transform an American city into a third-world cesspool, and it won't stop with just one city.

The grand jury was the "spark", not the cause - huge difference.
Total fail,
The press was the spark.
The racist black leaders, insinuating all blacks act like this.
There was nothing racial about the shooting. Just a punk who would be just as dead, regardless of race.
The grand jury cleared it up for everyone with an IQ higher than a doorknob.
The rioting blacks just wanted an excuse, and the riot probably would have happened anyway.
Remember the riots started long before the grand jury.

The rioting began because the initial "eye witness reports" spread by the media and I presume by word of mouth claimed the deceased was attempting to surrender or flee when fatally shot.
That is correct? Well, that is what I recall from the news.
Wonder if some of the folks who incit the crowd can be arrested for Breach of the Peace.

That is correct, the press, they also did the same thing as the trayvon thing, by posting an innocent picture of a young kid with headphones, instead of the one with a bottle of booze, smoking something, a mouth full of money and pointing a gun at the camera.
