I can offer this very simple way to end the "police brutality" that so many are protesting. Simply do not run, resist, or cause any problems when an officer stops you and you will be fine. The problems ALWAYS start when the "victim" decides to not comply.
99% of us, black, white, asian, mexican, etc, go through every day of our lives with no negative interactions with the police because we obey the law and act civilized if we are questioned. The one percent who get into trouble are the ones who don't see it that way.
As I mentioned in another thread, I left my shop at about 1 am one night and a police car lit me up. I pulled over, gave him my license, and explained why I was back in that area so late at night. He went on his way and I went on mine (after I thanked him for keeping an eye on our neighborhood) and that was the end of it. Not beatings, no shootings, nothing. I even called his barracks the next day and thanked the Sargent there for what the cop did the night before. I was not offended that I was "profiled" like so many who are stopped by the police. If I would have gotten all huffy and said I have a right to drive on any street in America at any time I want, I bet the outcome would not have been so good. Cops are only doing their jobs.
If a person who asks questions and wants to learn is a "bigot", in your opinion, then there are a lot of bigots on this forum.

Because you are OLD ENOUGH to remember when blacks were disenfranchised and not even considered human beings. You want to actually play like you have NO IDEA why things are the way they are, but it was only FIFTY FREAKING YEARS AGO that a LAW had to be signed FORCING the majority to treat blacks decently.
Maybe they have something going there. Maybe we do need two different justice systems, one for blacks and one for everyone else. Maybe others things should be different too.
Since we couldn't call it a Kangaroo court, just what would we call it?
I'm sure the DA already knew she was a lying mess, but it didn't matter. She did what she was SUPPOSED to do.
The evidence in both the Garner case and Brown case spoke for itself. Nothing to see here, move on with your life. The only crimes that were being committed were by Brown and Garner and that's why they were being placed under arrest.
NEWSFLASH: Those are ETHNIC businesses that do NOT hire blacks or people from the neighborhood, so there are no "jobs" to lose.
I bet no blacks work at those stores because the ones that did were unreliable poor workers that never showed up on time and stole from the employer. Hard working minority business owners aren't stupid. They want reliable labor so they hire the white man. Funny how you never hear a white guy say how that God Damn black man is keeping me down when it comes to employment.
