Did anyone ever teach you that leading cops on a high-speed chase might not end well?
Didn't anyone ever teach you that police have no more a right to take life unlawfully than anyone else?
When people act in a dangerous or confrontational manner they put themselves at risk. Let me give you an example.
I attended Cornell University and I am white, Jewish and middle class. One night I was in a particularly glum mood after figuring out that I was flunking my foreign language course, having problems with allergies and medication I was using to control them (a depressive mixture of codeine and Tylenol), and getting bullied on the dorm floor. I was pacing back and forth across the bridge. An officer stopped me and I spent the night in the college infirmary. I woke up and found myself tied down, but loosely. I untied the knots, and Dr. Bull (literally his name), plunged, rather roughly, a needle lased with tranquilizers into my thigh. The result was I wound up on crutches for about a week or two.
I did wind up going back to school to finish the semester, returned in the fall and finished normally, and went on to law school. The point of this story is that any disobedience of authority, however benign, can end badly. And race was not a factor.
I think many are forgetting that the DOJ which was brought in after this case..actually brought in their report last December....Read it..because there was found a across the board a system problem with the use of lethal force and made numerous findings...I think follow this acquittal ..There;s still a rather bumpy road ahead for what those 100 officer's did..and Policy and Procedures ..Commanding officer's too can easily be found to have lacked in control's and proper direction...Just because the "Kill Shoot" couldn't be proven to come from Mr. Brelo..(now defunct Officer)..The totality of their actions makes them civil liable. There's still going to be a lot of second shoes to drop yet..IMO
Just incase some don't wish to see DOJ report Here it is~~It appears some just wanna put fingers in ears and disregard and continue with false narratives to bolster that people HATE police..Untrue..People Hate how Policing in general victimize the targeted groups ( aka Stop and Frisk) or broken Window's offensive....The list goes on~~ http://www.wkyc.com/story/news/local...lice/19897977/
And therein lies another part of the entire accountability issue. Cops don't have to be accountable because sorry ass judges, etc won't hold them accountable! They're just as complicit as the cops that committed the murders. This is really a corrupt system and not only corrupt cops.
How many of us really think that if we had chased a car until it stopped and then jumped up on the hood and fired 15 or so rounds into the driver and passenger killing them, that we wouldn't be convicted of murder? This was just a glorified example of road rage! But because it was perpetrated by cops "that were scared" he is released to continue his assault on Americans.
When these murderers are found not guilty because they're cowards (scared), it just gives a green light to the cops to keep on keeping on with their criminal actions against Americans.

Interesting lawsuit by 9 of the 13 officers at the center of this bringing a cause of action against the department for what they term racial discipline favoring black minorities over whites.
Well... unfortunately some of you weren't in the court.. or heard the evidence... and none of you rendered the verdict... although Lynch's lynching is sure to follow.. she has already said so..
I hear some people whine every second on here about the constitution and constitutional rights... but when it doesn't meet your standard you abandon it immediately.
In this case contagious fire was stupid ridiculous... and a post shooting analysis will identify all the issues I see on its face. I am interested in pursuit management.. personnel management.. post pursuit control... which when you view the video looks non existent. This comes down to policy ...and I would certainly be interested in seeing the multiple agency policies in this instance ...
The officer in this incident will still be subject to being fired.. and while human made a huge tactical error...inexcusable
I would be interested on where and how he was trained and his extent of experience
As far as the amount of rounds fired... .not really surprising .. easy to discharge a magazine in less than several seconds.. the whole shooting was over in seconds...
All this being said..
Field sergeants failed their job to supervise
... miserably...some have already been fired.. more will be.. 30 officers facing discipline up to firing .. some will .. some should be...
Somewhere policy failed ...miserably
And the occupants.. but specifically the driver failed.. miserably
I call this one
Unacceptable on its face
That was a pretty good response, and reasonable. We agree
