Cop not guilty of the murder.

So...

• You're driving by a police HQ.
• Your beat up hoopty backfires
• 100 cops jump into 62 cars and go onto the road giving chase
• The 22 mile chase ensues; for whatever reason the driver doesn't stop
• When they finally do stop there is a barrage of bullets from 13 cops
• 137 shots fired at/into the car
• and the victims are each hit more than 20 times each

The KNOWN crimes committed at the time of the shooting:

• Speeding
• Not stopping for a horde of cops chasing you

Charges in the killing:

• One cop charged because he waited until the car stopped, jumped on the hood and fired 15 shots through the windshield (just to make sure).

Why wasn't he convicted?

• They couldn't tell if his shots were the coup de grace.

Questions:

• Makes sense?
• This is justice?

I think one of the guys had a warrant out for him and that's why he didn't stop but I still don't see why they fired 137 shots, that's a lot of fire for two dudes in a car.

One of them was a woman.

When the car stopped, he jumped on top of the vehicle, didn't say anything and proceeded to empty his gun through the roof of the car. I guess he didn't think the first 120 bullets made their mark.
