One of the reasons I watch CBS Sunday Morning every week is for Steve Hartman's feel good stories. They're stories about the ordinary citizen doing extraordinary things.
This aired this morning. Kudos to Dad. Oh, and "Don't forget to show love."
Still can't give you and others more reps, but, I just had to say, how adorable that was. Sooooooooo cute, I needed to smile and that did it for me. Thanks for sharing
Massachusetts limo driver gives girl, 8, with rare genetic disorder free rides to Boston Children's Hospital

A limo driver in Massachusetts is making sure an 8-year-old girl with a rare genetic disorder gets to her doctor’s appointments in style.
Steven Hipolito, owner of Silver City Limousine in Taunton, Massachusetts, first connected with Mary Alice Tryda, 8, thanks to Facebook.
"I had posted on the Bridgewater board on Facebook just looking for information on how to get from Bridgewater to Boston Children's Hospital because we were new to the area," Tryda's mother, Kelly, told Fox 25.
That’s when Kelly got a response from Hipolito, who offered to take Tryda to her doctor’s appointments in Boston in one of his limos -- for free...
Jake's journey home: Volunteers drive lost dog 2,000 miles to return to owner
Quote:
It took 20 volunteers and four days of driving, but more than a year after he was lost, Jake the coonhound made a 2,000 mile journey back to his family.
Jake went missing from his home in Peoria, Arizona more than a year ago, ABC15 reports. In April, Jake was found in Roaring Spring, Pennsylvania.
Renae Metz with A Darrah Bull Bully Rescue said she's not sure what happened to Jake to get him so far from home, but she suspects he might have hitched a ride.
The volunteers shared photos along the way so Jake's fans could follow his progress
Another great story. It just goes to show that many of us can do something for someone to help out, no matter if it is big or small. I am inspired.
