Politically Correct people say the new sign will make people have a more positive attitude towards handicapped people. I suppose you have to stop using word "handicapped" too.

Critics hit out at new handicapped access sign showing stick figure in an 'active' pose | Daily Mail Online

Old Sign, Progressive Sign

Some people say it looks like constipated person straining on a non-squat toilet.

The person in the second wheelchair looks too energetic to qualify for a special parking space.

Nothing wrong with the original sign. If the PC people want it changed, let them pay for it instead of the tax payers.

What about handicapped people who are paralyzed and can't be "active"? This new sign may be offensive to them.

Seriously? This is a problem?

The real problem is that too many people have handicapped stickers, park there and are as active as I am. Leave them for the real people who need them.

And then we also have the proliferation of "Mommies Only" and "Pregnant Only" unlegislated areas. Those I park in, to be politically correct. My daughter jogged 4 miles two days before giving birth.... no special places needed for mom's to be... sorry.
