So damn sad. Expect more of this, considering the abundance of armed hot-heads.

Sad.

And I agree with Sky Blue Eyes in the comment section. I may be a conservative, but picking up a gun DOES NOT solve your problems. It is cowardice. Pure and simple cowardice.

I hope they find the guy so he rots in jail forever.

If people cannot drive properly, they should not drive. If people cannot control their tempers, they should not drive.

This following is another report 'Desperate' police appeal for help after 4-year-old killed in Albuquerque road rage incident | Fox News that contains the account of someone who might have seen the two vehicles involved, and IF it is true, then the person who was driving the vehicle in which the little girl was killed was, arguably, also responsible for the death of the little girl. (Maybe this is one reason they are not releasing the child's identity? -- although her identify should come out eventually.)

"We were actually behind the two vehicles that were in the middle of the road rage incident: red truck, red sedan," Jonelle Tafoya told the station. "The red truck was not allowing the red car to pass [and] kept swerving from lane to lane to keep the vehicle behind them."
(My italics)

Stupid, stupid, STUPID. And wrong, wrong, WRONG. And so very, very sad and tragic.

There will always be people who annoy you, and there will always be situations that escalate. The problem arises from people who can't control themselves--even moreso when these people have guns. And, sadly, there are a lot of them!

The parents of this girl aren't responsible for her death. The supposed good guy with a gun is!

My point is that if the driver had just let the guy pass, the child would still be alive. But, no, he (or she) had to "prove a point" and the end result was that a little girl died.

(Again, this is assuming that what the witness reported is true.)

Why do you say he's a good guy?

I guess this just shows us -- once again, and again and again -- that the big problem in America is that there just aren't yet enough guns out*there … and the laws and regulations are just to strict … ??? IOW, this tragedy is obviously the fault of the gun control crowd …

I think we should focus on the fact that a little girl died because of road rage. I think the fact that she died because someone had a gun is secondary to that.
