More proof that the only time religion can be mentioned in class is if it's being denigrated.

Well, IMO "God's" name has been thrown around too loosely, Sooo I'm with the teacher on this one!

Do you love your wife?

Is that a fact?
Or is it only your belief that you do?

This is just one more example of why it is wrong to discuss ANY religious beliefs (or non-belief) in a public school.

There's an easy way to settle this: Have the Yahweh-Jesus-Casper the Friendly Ghost-thing come down and talk to us.

Maybe the Jesus-thing can explain why he adamantly refuses to heal amputees.
Possibly, because our country and others keep creating them.....

If the teacher/school is going to use the word God, why not also use Allah and see the reaction.

Strange this test can stand, but a mom can't refuse to have her son complete homework about Islam. Why are teachers injecting religion or God in the first place.

Exactly, yet some think it should be, after all, kids only learn it in school. Some say parents would only teach their way to their children. It has worked for years this way, why change now? Kids being innocent, are better than adults at figuring out and understanding how people believe.

People get so butt hurt over their religion. Try having mine. We are ridiculed every day. We don't care. I'm pretty sure God doesn't care either. He made the duck-billed platypus for crying out loud. Not sure that he cares about our silly hang ups and classifications.
