Muslims hating west is nothing new.
What's new is west bringing those haters into their own society and hoping they don't hate.
They are right, they don't hate, they just blow everyone up.

And Byzantium before that.

I am not PC, but I have lived in Turkey. That aside, many of these particular moslems in this instance are "moslem" in the same way that my heavily secularized neighbor was "christian"- he goes to church once every few years. A certain number were probably also drunk or stoned (not the sharia kind of stoning).

In short, this is just another example of bad behavior by soccer fans. In past years, distantly Christian fans have mocked the holocaust, or hooter and hollared during moments of silence for the mass murder of moslems at Sbreniza(sp) etc.

This is Erdogan's "New Turkey" as they call.

Not Kemal Ataturk's secular Turkey anymore.

I believe that Turkeys new president has ISIS sympathies. The elections just happened. I do not know how long Turkey will be in our camp or even NATO. Hard to say. The reports out of Turkey seem confusing, but that is what I hear. Not so good.

A) they're soccer fans.

B) they were playing Greece. There's a bit of history there, and it's likely the continued backlash against Greece bled over.

Oh and they have a history of booing most moments of silence, including their own.

Why Did Turkish Soccer Fans Boo During A Moment Of Silence For The Paris Attacks?

Geez! We sure are full of hate and have NO christian values at all.
So move to Turkey. I'll buy your ticket. Honest.

I f--ing hate Turkey for the way it treats the Kurds. And this doesn't help at all.

But I also hate Greece. Bunch of lazy, entitled slobs who can't run their own society. They seem to think working 30 hours a week entitles them to a lifetime pension--even though they all evade their taxes. They've almost dragged Europe down with them. Don't get me wrong; I love some Greek Americans, like Tina Fey and David Sedaris. But Greeky Greece? Yuck. It's almost third world and has no good excuse.

In that region, I like the Kurds. We should be making Kurdistan another island of America-loving don't-f***-with-us stability, like we did with Israel. The Kurds alone deserve it, having fought for their own country--even women and old people!--alongside US forces. God bless the Kurds.

BTW, I heard the Bosnians also booed during the moment of silence. Euro-trash.
