Is this another 'setback' as Obama defined the Paris attack?

Difficult to say since this is happening in a country already in an internal conflict.

After all, what if this incident was in the Philippines with the Moro Islamic Liberation Front (yes, the MILF); would we be so quick to say that is was ISIS?

Yes!! Militant Muslim extremism. The individual names of the groups are irrelevant.

Savages attack innocent people yet again. When will the world rise up and wipe these savages and their oppressive ideology off the planet. When will our President show some balls and leadership and take the fight to these bastards instead of reacting to attacks with rhetoric and GOP attacks.

Well, one certainly doesn't want them allying with each other, exchanging ambassadors, getting the attitude to take on a common enemy. Ie, if it's just a territorial issue and they don't want to go any further than that, don't encourage them to expand their target sights.

Just saying..............

Actually I would like for them to have more structure to make it easier to attack them.

Frankly even though most are our enemy most are also their own enemy. Internal ISIS fighting currently limits their ability. Even if they successfully set up an Islamic state I fail to see how it will last unless they get a very strong leader cause they will be killing each other off.

People think that a group of "tech savvy" kids who can use Face Book and Myspace are kicking it up a notch. Just imagine when Sinbad unfriends Ali and Ali gets his feelings all hurt but has guns and 20 guys under him? Wonder what Real Housewives of Raqqa will be like.
