Beijing managed to keep that our of the media despite every reporter in the world being there.

You can do that when your central government controls the media.
2010 Olympics were a Winter year, and they were in Vancouver. So fairly easy to keep quiet...

I would be interested to see anything other than modern Han propaganda establishing your assertion.

Do you mean to say that Han actually lived in Xinjiang prior to the Uyghurs or just "claimed hegemony" over it.

Meanwhile you better advise the BBC editorial staff, who refer to the Uyghurs as indigenous

Who are the Uighurs? - BBC News

Muslims have problems with everybody even their own. It's not even about the religion, the problem is the people under this faith do not follow the good teachings and only use the name of Islam to promote hatred.

And the problem with many Muslims is that they are either too brainwashed or ignorant to know what's right from wrong and just follow the twisted path of those that wants to use other Muslims to commit unspeakable evils.

Poverty and lack of education is the contribution source to the problem.

Heck, they were already getting dispossessed. Some of them grab onto any backing they can find.

No Uyghurs are NOT the indigenous people in Xinjiang.

The earliest (known) people were Tocharians, who were Indo-European and were Buddhist till the mid 700s AD. They were also a unique branch of Indo-European people: blond features, unique language, and oasis agricultural culture.

Han Chinese started to live in Xinjiang (as minority) since 2000 years ago, much earlier than Uyghurs or any Turks did. Tang Dynasty of China had military control of Xinjiang, but then lost a war to the Arabs when they had some rebellion in China in 755. After that, all of Xinjiang was converted to Islam. Tocharians suffered genocide by Muslims and the survived were absorbed by Turks.

The difference is that in China they don't mess around, they find them and then execute them.

We had better start executing them too or they'll just do it to us.

It seems to me that everywhere that this ideology travels, it creates strife. Since the doctrine is one of dominance ( google Dhimmi ) there just is no place for it, except in Islamic lands.

Just some countries that have issues with Muslim majorities or Muslim minorities, including violence and terrorism.

Israel
USA
Russia
England
France
Mali
Phillipines
China
Sweden
Spain
Turkey
Indonesia

There's a problem, folks. Here's the China story.

Morning Call
China wont have that issue very long. Remember Tiananmen Square Massacre: 5 Things to Know on Anniversary

If they did that to their own people, I can't imagine what they will do to terrorists
