This made me so mad when I watched this video. I always loved the pets I have had. I can not fathom how any pet owner could do this to their dog. Although the video did not say, I hope she is banned from ever having animals again.
What a loser. What is going on with the kid left home with the drugs? That kid should be taken away for her own safety before the meth head can kill her too.
I think it is terrible how the dog died but depending on where you live killing an animal is an everyday occurance. Now when it comes to ones pet that is a different story but who can forget "Old Yella" . Have we become more sensitive to life?
Euthanizing an animal can be expensive proposition especially for a drug addict who would rather get her next fix.
Giving the dog a shot to kill it is the most humane. Shooting it would be quick but stabbing it? That lady has some issues and she should not have a kid in her care. It would have been better to let the dog go and hope someone would pick it up and realized it needed to be put down before the poor thing starved to death.
She is being brought up on charges of animal cruelty. The excuse that she couldn't afford to pay a vet to have the dog euthanized isn't going to wash. I hope she gets a good amount of jail time where she can't get at her meth. No doubt child services will be looking into this too.

Would you say the same if she had a gun and shot the dog? Just curious, since farmers and ranchers have put down dogs, horses, etc. with guns if they thought the animal was too sick to survive.
