Constrictors absolutely do bite.
Often the bite to grip their prey in place and then wind around them.
Their teeth even point backwards a bit which sadly reinforces the grip if pulled against.

They don't have fangs, but reticulated teeth that they grab their prey with before they wrap and squeeze. It may be rare for someone's pet to bite maybe, but a wild animal that thinks it sees a meal, or needs to defend itself, is a different story.
The bigger question is "they really have toilets in Thailand?
