Las Vegas, NV (KTNV) - It's an attack you might expect from an animal but not a human being. An 88-year-old Las Vegas woman is recovering a severe human bite after a bizarre confrontation with a home invasion suspect.

The culprit, believed to be her 20's, reportedly was determined to get a hold of the elderly homeowner's purse.

That young chic must be on that stuff. I wouldn't bite an 88 year old if someone paid me. Either the girl was high or needed to get high. I hope they put her under the jail for a long time.

What a shame our elderly have to go through such things and have to feel unsafe in their own homes.
