I know in the US you can make a civil suit over what people say about you. And there are also "bullying" laws now that protect people from being harassed. Its just a different legal system.
I think the "comedian" is a total scumbag so I am not going to lose any sleep over any of it.

Ah yes, exactly what the Founding Fathers fought so hard for. I'm sure they would be overjoyed to hear that people are using their freedom of speech to make fun of a child's genetic disease and asking why a child with this genetic disease just won't die already. Thanks George Washington!
