I know in the US you can make a civil suit over what people say about you. And there are also "bullying" laws now that protect people from being harassed. Its just a different legal system.

I think the "comedian" is a total scumbag so I am not going to lose any sleep over any of it.

Comedians like Jerry Seinfeld and Chris Rock have talked about how they don't like doing shows at colleges any more because of how sensitive the audiences are.

When someone can get their collective panties in a wad and sue you for something that comes out of your mouth I can't say that I blame them.

Blast from the past. I bought that cassette when it came out. That was actually an earworm of a track.

Oh and this suing the comedian thing is a dirtbag move.

Maybe they should use their fame and speak out against the PC culture

Making fun of individuals for a buck, has nothing to do with PC ... just good old fashioned respect.

Thankfully, we don't legislate "respect" in this country. And we never will.

Live free or die.

Because we all know that the Founding Fathers asserted (didn't grant, BTW) our right to speak pleasantries freely.

So it's fine to call your mother a **** ******* *****, for a few dollars?

How about a comedy skit about having sex with 5 year olds? -I guess that's okay as well?
