I'm not surprised people act like this. The scary thing is if they act like this for goods. What will they do for food? When there children are starving what will they do? Hopefully this country never is faced with that decision but who knows what it might be like one day.

I'd understand fighting to survive, but this? Although it's not as prevalent as all these videos may lead you to believe, the fact it happens at all with people acting like savages over something that's a fad or plentiful tomorrow, is sickening.

I agree with you. Maybe people love being in that situation and acting like that. It's like a game.
That's crazy.. We went out Black Friday shopping (like every year) and it's never like that. Busy, yes but I have never seen crazy mobs of crowds knocking people down. The very worst of it is the people not paying attention and hitting you with their carts. Otherwise, it's always been safe feeling to me. We have never had any troubles and always had a fun time. We also always chat with others waiting in line or just out and everyone's always friendly.
So the shooting itself wasn't actually linked to a Black Friday shopper going mad over a deal, it was a domestic incident at first. I have no idea why people cannot come out and just enjoy without turning things into chaos.
