I'm hearing this on my radio a lot today.

Judge rules coffee sold in California needs cancer warnings | CBC News

Years ago, maybe 15 or so, my friend was told by her MD to NOT drink Starbucks as it contains a chemical in it's processing that is alleged to advance fibroids. My friend drank a lot of Starbucks out and at home, she stopped drinking it after her MD's warning. I Never jumped on the Starbucks craze.

I drink one cup daily of Organics or Seattles Best Organics.

I’ve heard this story before about coffee and it’s been back and forth several times that it wasn’t good for you and then it was. Confused yes, addicted “yes” so I switched to only drinking organic coffee and it is processed without the chemicals (I think). However I can’t give it up. I never drink Starbucks for several other reasons.

That's alright, absent mindedness is a typical 'caffeine induced' symptom ...

"It maybe hazardous to your health" should simply be on the warning label of everything.
There, no more issues.

Just seeing this story on the news, as I drink my morning coffee. Apparently the culprit is acrylamide but they made no mention of this being only in Starbucks coffee.

A quick search came up with this from NCI:

However, a large number of epidemiologic studies (both case-control and cohort studies) in humans have found no consistent evidence that dietary acrylamide exposure is associated with the risk of any type of cancer (9, 14).

I'm filing this under "A Bunch Of Crap About Nothing".

Life is hazardous to our health. It always leads to death.

I should concern myself with coffee?

Summer is coming. Soon we'll be reminded that grilled meat causes cancer, especially when wrapped in strips of bacon. There will always be party poopers. I ignore them.

I think coffee is disgusting, so I guess I'm safe there.
