They questioned him for some five hours before they attempted to read him his rights, and then they bungled it and read it wrong. Then it was another six hours before someone finally correctly read him his rights.
They are like modern day Keystone Cops. My god, most ordinary people could probably correctly tell somebody their Miranda rights from memory, just from watching TV. But FBI agents can't handle it? Unbelievable.
Everything up to that point has to be inadmissible. If he gets acquitted, it's the fault of the FBI. Fortunately I don't think that is going to happen. The case is just too strong even without the confession.
