At the age of 23, these idiots shoulda known better. That's the problem with the younger generation. They are either too stupid or just don't care. 10 years in a prison over there should set them straight. If they survive of course.

I would say that maybe the "teen" in the headlines was not too far off as these two acted like ill behaved juveniles, but that would insult many teens who have a sense of right and wrong.
If their countries have to make concessions I hope their home country makes them reimburse the expenses. Maybe sentence them to a year of cleaning up spray paint grafitti?
Otherwise I think they will just go on thinking there are no consequences and someone will always bail them out.
I just wonder what goes on in the minds of idiots who do things like this. Why would they do it in the first place? Did they intend to take pictures of themselves to post on Social Media so they could brag to their friends or did it just give them some sort of sense of self-satisfaction?
They definitely need some sort of punishment to learn there are consequences for criminal actions and disrespectful behavior towards other people's property.

Some young people have a skewed sense of 'entertainment'. Doing something they know is wrong and getting away with it is somehow attractive to them. That is till they get caught, then it's all that "I'm sorry, I meant no harm" bs, or a myriad of other excuses. Perhaps it takes a level of maturity, that they lack, to know the difference between being cool, and being stupid. These two morons were both old enough to know better.
Pretty harsh sentence, but some people just have no respect for other countries. Two teens spray painted an ancient wall in Thailand. Stupid, just stupid.
Agreed. Thailand has the absolute right to set and enforce its own laws. Too bad for the moron tourists.
On the plus side, they'll have up to 10 years to sober up and ponder the error of their ways.
