You might be wrong about that. If he was asked to leave the house and had to be kicked out (isn't this the guy whose parents had to have him legally evicted?), and he was asked to remove his stuff and didn't, I have no problem with his parents throwing all of it out: porn, high school trophies, photos, camping gear, coin collection, comic books, all of it.
If he thought that his porn was something he couldn't live without, he should have put it all into a suitcase and taken it with him when he moved out, not left it for his parents to deal with.
Surely, he must have know that his parents had some issues with porn. Myself, I wouldn't have moved and left my pet cat in my parent's basement because I knew that they despised the idea of pets and I valued the cat. If he valued his magazines and knew his parents disproved, why did he leave them?
He was staying with them temporarily during a divorce. When he moved out they agreed to hold his things for him until he got settled in his new place. When they sent his stuff, it was minus the porn collection, which they took upon themselves to throw out rather than return to him.
You don't actually believe porn started in the '70's?? Even in ancient times there was porn, and in every decade of America.
You are correct, but it became more popular in the 60s and 70s due to the sexual revolution. People living together, experimentation, etc. People decided that sex wasn't something to be ashamed of anymore and it was reflected in the movies and to a lesser extent, television.

That will never make porn ok IMO. It was started by the mafia in the 70’s I believe. It’s pure filth. Period. Its of the devil. Just like gambling. Both will rot your brain and steal your soul. Both should be banned in America in my opinion. What motivates women to get into porn? Is it money? What else?

Porn has been around since ancient times, you can find porn from the ancient greeks to the 1800's United States, and all eras in between here and abroad. What are you talking about that it was started in the 70's?? Playboy magazine started publishing in 1953.

Yeah....ok. Lol people have been painting naked women since caveman days. Cavemen used to carve women figures in wood and stone. Porn has been around longer than the 70’s.
As far as banning porn or alcohol...never gonna happen.
Actually an adult can ban it from their home. That's a start. Or in some cases the beginning of re establishing some healthy habits of self respect.
The human body can be of regard without being on full display.
Porn is not an industry that gives the impression of valuing the person so much
As devaluing the act of private intimacy.
Debase.
