My husband went out to go to work at 5:45 am and the 4-runner wouldn't start.
he took the new car and I am now waiting for the roadside assistance to come and jump me
I am hoping it is just the battery
update: well the guy just left he couldn't get me started with a jump, he said it sounds like it could be the starter
so now I am waiting for it to be towed to the Toyota dealership
sigh YA know ....
So the walk will have to wait till they get here (they say 55 mins)
Location: Finally made it to Florida and lovin' every minute!

I'm sorry to hear about your car. Don't you hate when that happens first thing in the morning? Messes up the whole day.
Anyway, I made it through 30 minutes of strength, 16 min. of dreadmill and 15 on the bike.
Finished much earlier walking the dog. Today will also be the first day of a new walking route for just me (and my stungun). I am going to try four miles - inspired by Karla - by myself until I find the perfect canine companion to accompany me. (Doberman houseguest will not make it. He is old and never been checked out for cardiomyopathy - breed specific problem - so I'm not taking chances.) Note to self: Don't ever live anywhere again where it is commonsense to have a VERY LARGE, intimidating looking dog or a stungun accompany you on your outdoor exercise excursions. Just some Monday morning humor and much-needed insight. Happy Monday all!

Reason: typo
Pedaled the bike about 9 miles to work this morning. Pretty tame compared to FUIFM, no need to pack weapons here when out and about. Lots of people out walking dogs today, and a few dogs out walking their people too. Time to dive into the mountain of projects awaiting at my cubicle. Have fun out there.
quite different walking at noon than 6:15 am
the walk took longer because people just wanted to stop and chat and lola decided she needed to say hi
well good news about the car it was the battery a bad cell or something
but lol it had been awhile since I had the spark plugs and other things done
and with 120k miles I didnt want to risk having to buy a 2nd new car this year so I bit the bullet and $639 it will be all nice . Luckily I remember that I had met one of the mechanics from the dealership so I asked for him and he gave me a $150 discount any little bit helps
Hi all,
Sorry about your car Karla, my son is a mechanic and I was getting free car care until he moved to Tucson! I did my hour class this morning, I really needed to excerise because I ate way to much at my sisters St. Patty's day dinner sat. night!!
I was almost thwarted by an alligator! Was walking my favorite trail and gazing off across the water and thought, there sure are a lot of alligators out today, so I started to count them...then I almost tripped over one on my side of the lake. $^%$&^%*#$$#%^&!!!!!
But I survived to tell you all about it and got 3 miles in after all.
