Good morning! Well, my 10 year old's first question about Jolly Old St. Nick the other day..."Mom, do you put the presents under the Christmas tree?http://i233.photobucket.com/albums/ee109/jeannie216/Xmastree3.gif (broken link) " "No, Santa does, why do you ask?http://i233.photobucket.com/albums/ee109/jeannie216/0244.gif (broken link) " "I don't know, can you help me with my homework?". Thats how the conversation went the other day so I'm sure he is hearing at school that maybe, just maybe your parents are the ones that put the presents under the tree and not Santa http://i233.photobucket.com/albums/ee109/jeannie216/santasmiley.gif (broken link)...sigh...Not ready to let on yet. My daughter is 8 and still really believes so I was hoping for another year or two with my 10 year old? My oldest was 12 years old when we finally told him and I was hoping that for Kevin. Hum....brings a tear to my eye that they are growing up so fast. So how is everyone doing with the holiday preparations? Haven't done a thing with shopping yet but will get rolling this weekend. Coffee with splenda and soymilk so far...Have a great day everyone! http://i233.photobucket.com/albums/ee109/jeannie216/remoteImage-27.gif (broken link) Jeannie

Jeannie, my children are 35 and 41 and still believe in Santa. We told them years ago, when they started asking, that Santa only comes if you believe in him. So if they didn't believe in Santa, he wouldn't bring any presents. I believe in Santa, don't you?
Coffee and fat free half and half
banana
peanut granola bar

Good morning! Last night I went to a Hanukah Party, had some latkes- potato pancakes, my friend bought them at Trader Joes then it's already packaged so you could fry them.Traditionally they have donuts too.I bought some donuts,by the way, there aren't that many donut shops around.there are more in Ralphs and Vons.I found a donut shop. I had too many latkes.
Ok,I just had oat meal and soy milk. I still feel the potatos in me...
Lunch: Chicken tenders in cream of mushroom soup and coffee and milk. I am still hungry, so I will probably have a couple of apples or carrots and apple.
Hey ladies!!!
I know I've been absent for such a long time... I want to take at least half an hour each day from now on to chat with you. I missed you all!!!
No breakfast for me today.
Lunch - small nearly fat free steak with beans and potatoes
Dinner - rest of the small steak with bread and some slices of cucumber + a yoghart
Jeannie, I hope your kids will believe in Santa for a while longer. Miguel's still too small to know what's up so we begin with the story telling next year. But I'm looking forward to it nevertheless although the most interesting won't be the present in the box but probably the box and the wrapping.
Hope you all enjoy the preparations!
