Breakfast: fruit
starch--oatmeal or granola bar or sometimes I use yogurt
milk--one cup 1%
Lunch: 1 starch
3 oz meat--must be very lean
3 cups salad with 2 T. dressing (I use Olive Garden Dressing because it is the only dressing I like. Try to keep the fat down.)
Afternoon snack: fruit
Dinner: 1 starch
4 oz meat--very lean
1 cup cooked vegetables
milk--one cup 1%
Nighttime snack: fruit
This is basically a 1200 calorie diabetic diet that I have slightly modified. I don't have diabetes, but I thought a diabetic diet would be a balanced diet.
The banana for breakfast is probably actually 2 fruits so a daily makeup of food is:
Milk--2 or 3 servings
Fruit--3 or 4 servings
Vegetables--5 or 6 servings
Meat--More than 6 ounces
Starches--As few as possible to make eating bearable
I have been thinking that it makes no sense for me to post what I ate today when often it is only a cup of coffee so far. Maybe I should start posting what I ate yesterday.
2 slices Canadian bacon ond pineapple pizza and 3 cheesy bread sticks form Dominos
3 cans of diet coke total(more than usual I confess)
Coffee with fat free half and half
4 potato chips (random grazing, quite proud I stopped at 4)
Half a box of Dots
I slept half the day because I picked up a night shift for a sick coworker
We'll see what today brings.
Happy New Year missmouse! However you want to do it. Some of us just post a few times during the day or just once at night.
oatmeal
water with lemons
supplements
2, not 1, 2 whole wheat bagels
Lean Cuisine
corn muffin
I'm on a roll at work with all the food today, so it could get pretty nasty.

Hi everyone! Happy new year again! Never really slept, had to get up at 5 am to go see the parade. I was given a great sitting ticket, which was right across from the famous Norton Simon Museum, where the Parade begins.here are the pictures
My friend's husband had to park at the end of the parade,so we practically walked all of pasadena.Everywhere was barracaded, some shops were asking $20 to park at their lot. pretty sleepy and exhausted at this point I wore warm clothing, and by the time I came home I was so hot and had to wash my hair and take a shower.
