My mom is still feeling groggy and a little sedated,Me and a nurse had to sleep walk her to my car and I got her out sleep walking to the house. she is still sleeping. I'ts been 2 hours now. Gave her antibiotics with milkshake. Yum! I had some too!
Glad your Mom is doing so good Izzy. I went through that with my daughter years ago. It is rough. We had a station wagon and I made a bed in the back for her to use on the 25 mile trip back home.
Sorry about the earthquake thing. The one I was talking about was in England. Just click on the website I left on the post and it will take you there. Just one of my hobbies to check that website almost every day. I had noticed that miguel's mom had some really good food that is very much like the food I had growing up in the mountains. We were a combination of English, Irish, and German; so I get mixed up as to where miguel's mom lives sometimes.
Lunch was potato wedges I bought at Harris Teeter when I went for milk. I had one of their cookies too. I go to that store just to get the free cookie. I had a cube of ham today too and some kind of pound cake cube. All store samples.
Dinner was pork and cabbage egg rolls and pudding for desert along with coffee and milk.
Snack this afternoon was applesauce and toast and coffee and milk.
Have you finished packing yet Jeannie? How is it going. You know I am just "cutting up." That is just to get Jeannie used to Southern talk.
