Thank you, I'm here all week, be sure and tip your servers.

BTW Rolling blacks out have ceased for now, so if your power is still out, better call it in, that is if you can read this, but then you would have power.

That is right.......... ERCOT has said they can end the rolling blackouts now. However, they still want people to be conserving energy.

As I said on another thread where someone was complaining about them.......... this was EASY!!!! That did not even last 12 hours. There are a lot of areas of the country that have been w/o power for over a day and it is not because of a mandatory blackout. They have lines down...... a lot longer to fix that problem than it is to deal w/ rolling blackouts.

Oh, I did venture out to the store. The worst was our alley. Solid sheet of ice and took my time as I did NOT want to go slip slidding around there and go thru a fence and into someones swimming pool Just took my time and it was fine.

I went to Walmart in basketball shorts, but had a hoodie on and people were calling me crazy, saying I need to be whooped. Lmao. It's not like I was going to be standing outside for a long time.

was glad that our house is close to fire station--think that is something that will always have power if there is any choice in the matter--no power outs for my house all day--more glad that I did not suffer low-flow of NG and lost my heater...

those of you being "cool" by dressing w/o outerware--you pays your money and takes your chances--

We had three black outs this morning. Each lasted for about 5 minutes and it was really no big deal. Funny thing is I purchased a portable generator 2 weeks ago just for temporary black outs. Since the black outs were only 5 minutes I never got a chance to fire her up. It's a great thing to have if you ever lose power over a extended period of time.
