If you want to live in an all white neighborhood, Texas might not be the state for you.

We are quickly approaching a day where Texas will be like California and the rest of the southwest -- a melting pot of races and cultures.

I hear Iowa's pretty white this time of year.

Also, regarding Cedar Hill's declining property rates -- the southern suburbs have always been much less popular and much slower to grow than the north. That is even before they became African-American majority. If you refuse to move to Cedar Hill because there is a higher black population, you are missing out on living in one of the most naturally beautiful areas -- one of the only naturally beautiful areas -- in all of North Texas! Too bad for you!

You would think Dallas would have grown faster to the South, since the scenery is much better going South. Fort Worth did.

I agree that at the end of the day, everyone wants the same things.

Anyone who thinks Collin County is not diverse and tolerant needs to visit Stonebriar Mall or go out to eat along 121.

At my son's back to school meeting with the teacher, there were 15 couples, 4 of which were mixed race, with only 6 anglo-only couples. The teachers and the principal were black, hispanic, and asian.
