With the time difference, slow uhaul, bathroom breaks, etc...if i stop for the night, I'm worried I won't make it to Frisco in time to pick up my keys before my apartment building closes.

Figured it'd be easier to drive 12-13 hours until I got really tired, crash three hours in my car, then finish the trip and make it home and relax. If safety is a concern, I will def grab a motel though.

My only experience with rest stops is between AZ and CA, which were more than safe to stop at (as there was always tons of uhauls, truckers, cars alongside you)

P.S. Also, I figured I'd be less likely to have stuff stolen if I were in the car, than if the uhaul/car were sitting by themselves in some random motel overnight.

If you sleep in your car at a rest stop you'll have to leave the car on to keep the air conditioning going.

ElPaso has a couple Motel6's..That's much better than a rest stop and safer too
