You do the math.

Jerry lived up to his commitments on that stadium. It hurt but he did it and never complained.

That puts him ahead of 99.99% of most people in terms of character.

As you can clearly see from the graph they're not terrible, but not great either. Just barely above average.

Why would anyone with Jerry Jones money move from Highland Park to Frisco? I'm sorry I hurt your feelings, but its the truth.

Correct. But they are a "regional" team, not the Boston Patriots. I consider it different.

Ah, good catch. But the general trend has been for new stadiums to be located in the jurisdiction they share a name with.

They should be. The cowboys stadium should have been built in fair park or close by.

Also, New York has two teams playing in Jersey, not just one. So if you don't count New England, that will still be 7 franchises playing outside of their city. That's almost a quarter of the NFL.

In the Arlington tax payer's defense, the new stadium was supposed to help create other planned projects around the stadium spurring economic growth in the area. Then the economy crashed and things were shelved and nothing's happened since. I do find it surprising that since development has picked up again in North Texas that more hasn't been built around Arlington's entertainment district.

Agree

The Cotton Bowl actually has higher capacity than Cowboys Stadium in Arlington. Would be nice if they played there, and would give more of an NCAA feel. Tickets would probably be more affordable, and you could avoid parking charges by taking DART.

Avoiding parking is one of the reasons why Jerry never wanted to Cowboys back at Fair Park.
