Hey! I am wondering how I go about getting a TX Title for my car. I visted the DMV website, and I have looked at the 130-U form, but I don't think its the correct one to use. I have gotten my plates and license, and I want to get my title (which is currently in OH) to TX.

Thanks!

You only have to register your vehicle in Texas, you don't have to title it here. Texas is a little different than most states in that it doesn't have traditional DMVs. Vehicle titling and registration is administered by each individual County. If you really want to title your vehicle in TX, bring the completed 130-U form to the closest County Tax Office along with your original OH title and they should send you a title within 4-6 weeks.

Don't bother titling it. I traded my car in with TX reg and CA title and it was not an issue.
