Hello, all. My wife and I are considering buying a home in Frisco and found a great home that we absolutely love; however, I have a question about the school district. Our neighborhood would feed into the Lewisville ISD, specifically to Hicks Elementary, Arbor Creek Middle and Hebron HS. After doing some research, it seems Hicks and Arbor Creek are very highly rated (both 8/9 out of 10), which is great, but Hebron received a rating of just 5/10. We can't seem to figure out why after digging a little deeper, as all of the comments we've read from parents/students about Hebron are good. Could anyone explain why it only has a 5/10 rating?? We're getting this rating from greatschools.org, but I don't really know what their rating methodology is. We don't have any children yet, but are concerned about potential impact to re-sale value down the road...

perhaps due to hebron hs being 10-12 grade school so greatschools metrics cant compensate for that. They have a freshman center nearby which isnt a bad idea. I wouldnt worry too much about resale concerns in that area. I would guess lewisville isd does a good job and hebron hs seems like a good choice.
