Nice town. Bad builder. Buy an existing house.

I had a contract on a History Maker home last year. Thankfully I never went thru with it and get out of it before they could start building. The houses are very basic and cheap looking. They have horrible floor plans and don't make great use of the space provided. I opted to spend an extra 100k and buy something I would enjoy for many years to come. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. They don't allow many changes and every neighborhood they build in the houses are cheap and cookie cutter looking.

Don't. Waxahachie turned from a nice small town to a drug infested gang town. You're better off living in Red Oak. It's fairly close to Waxahachie and they have a bus that can take you to and back from Downtown Dallas.

Don't call it wax-a-hatchy, pronounce it as wox-a-hatchy.

Not true. The DART Park & Ride is located in Glenn Heights. Red Oak has no public transportation.
