Texas Live (if there is a game on) in Arlington near the ballparks has a decent hotel, some fun-ish stuff. It's probably more chill (dead) when there is no game.

Yeah, thats the major issue. Heck, I even hesitate going to events indoors because I don't want to get in my car. I love exploring and looking around DFW from October to May. I can't be bothered otherwise, and I question everyone who flies down here for summer vacation.

True. I wish we had more public lands and walkable districts where one can enjoy watching beautiful scenery that involves both skyline and nature. I mean, no place on Earth is perfect nor is it possible to have everything in one place, but I know Texas could do much better. Our hot weather should be no excuse.

Where to go go for nightlife (dance clubs or clubs for older people) lol? Are there any nice/classy lounges? Any nice hotels to lounge and have a drink? Trying to plan for week long activities for adult fun!. Any suggestions for both indoor and outdoor activities ?
The Dallas downtown traffic isn't bad. I never go there for nightlife, but it's not because of the traffic.

Take a trip to Waco to see Chip & Johanna Gaines outlet
Rent a kayak or boat on Grapevine Lake
Browse the cute historical downtown Grapevine
Drive around Highland Park in the evening and look at the mansions
Check out performances at Granbury Opera House, also Fort Worth & Dallas Theatre
Everyone wants to see where JFK was shot
Go to the downtown Dallas Farmers Market, there’s easy access from I-30
Look on Groupon to see what activities they have deals on
Sign up for a cooking class thru Central Market (or have a private chef come to the house and do a cooking class ~. Sweet Suzanne on Facebook can arrange that, she’s in Arlington)
Go Bowling

Texas has wonderful State Parks throughout the state, especially in the more scenic areas such as around lake, the Hill Country, and Big Bend. https://tpwd.texas.gov/state-parks/
