Hello all! Today I accepted a new job in the area that wants me to start work on July 27th (12 days from now!). The position is working from home and I can chose the area so I was thinking East of Dallas. My husband is a welder and will hopefully be able to find work in Dallas. We are looking for a three bed two bath rent house that allows pets and my max budget is $1400/month. I was told to look around Rockwall but that area is out of my price range. Does anyone know of anywhere else that is somewhat outside of Dallas, affordable and safe that might meet my needs? I have only ever driven through Dallas so I am very unfamiliar with the area and have no idea where to even start. As we are limited on time all of my searching will be done online. If anyone could suggest anything I would greatly appreciate it. Also, if you could recommend good realtors that list rental homes that would be great as well. Thank you for your help with this.

You should have better luck finding welder jobs closer to FTW or south of Dallas. if schools are not important perhaps look in Cedar Hill (avoid Duncanville, a nearby town) because of its central location and proximity to some of the industrial areas on the south side where welder jobs might be closer.
Its hard to find rentals. Look on
