Hi, I'm a single female, 31, who's trying to decide whether I should move to Dallas or Denver. I will go for grad school, but the dating and social aspects will also play a part in my decision-making. I currently live in Chicago, where the dating is awful because there are way more women than men. Dating in other cities I've lived in wasn't much of a problem because the numbers were more even. Do you know what these number are in Dallas? I would love to live in a place with friendly people, warmer weather and where I can meet someone and settle down. Is this possible in Dallas, or is someplace like Denver a better bet?

Should be pretty easy to do here. You know how many religious guys are out here? They jump head over heels to get married.

Yay! I hope they don't think 31 is too old. And as long as I'm not one of 20 of their wives.

I am in my early 30s and I think the dating scene is awful. I'm cute, have a good figure, make good money, and I think I'm fun to be around but I'm still single. It sucks!

I wasn't aware scenes had names. I play league sports, I go out with meetup groups to bars and restaurants, I have tried match, chemistry, eHarmony...nothing.

befriend -
Maybe you need to come to Dallas/Cedar Hill and stay for awhile and make your owe choice. I relocated from Maryland and I got married. I'm happy (miss my family & friends) :-) so I guess it all depends on what you are looking for... There are good Men everywhere! You may have everything but remember it takes 2.

BigDGeek, have you only had this happen in Dallas, or in other cities too? I'm curious because I dated and got approached much more in every city I've lived in but Chicago.
