Can anyone give me some names of casual, fun Christian churches, if you have one, and can tell me where it is?? I am looking in the North parts of Dallas, and am undecided until we visit which area we'll be in. I am thinking along the lines of Allen, McKinney, Murphy, Rockwall.

We go to a laid back service on Saturday or Sunday, when we are in town. I am a new Christian, so am still learning. Our church plays great alternative Christian music, and our pastor is young (like 40ish) and gives us ways to use the bible in our everyday life....It is not real preachy or pushy, so that is what i would be looking for, also with a great Sunday school program....
Thanks

If you look in the Rockwall area then check out LakePointe Church. We have a ton of friends that go there and everyone loves it. We have visited with them but it was just too far for us.

The church we go to the youth director happens to be leading a service tonight at Watermark. We go to The Heights Baptist. WONDERFUL kids and student ministry programs and we love all of the adult stuff.

Fellowship has several locations around the area.

My own church in McKinney (Community Life Family Church) sounds like it would fit the bill if you end up in that area. Good practical teaching, excellent contemporary worship, laid back. They have good Sunday school program for kids,( not so much for adults though.) Good program for the youth.

Also, one of our good friends likes Firewheel Church in Garland. It is not too far from where they live in Murphy.
