At least we don't have fires yet like in Cali. Fires, drought, and floods, all simultaneously - that's too much!

I'm over this weather.

I washed my car during the hottest part of the day yesterday. Not the smartest thing to do; the heat was almost unbearable but the worst part is the glass was so hot that I left streaks all over it when I cleaned the windows. I'll have to let the car cool down overnight and do it again tomorrow morning.

SO ready for October. SO. READY.

Just moved from new england and I'm loving the weather. So warm and nice. Spent the entire weekend moving even during the hottest parts of the day. Just wore a big hat, drank a lot, no problem!!!

Detroit was so nice compared to this. I can only find solace in the fact that we're at the peak and it'll be cooling off soon.

I lived 11 years in Boston. And while I loved fall, spring, and summer there, the long winters took their toll (I didn't mind the cold, but did mind that winter went on and on and on...). After the blizzard of 96 we decided to make a move...to Atlanta. Enjoyed the weather there, but the summers were just a bit too humid for my taste. We lived there for 14 years then a job transfer brought us to Dallas in 2011. I have gotten used to the weather here now. Instead of a long winter now we get a long hot summer. Like everything in life, people experience weather differently, which would explain why discussing the weather is akin to discussing politics or religion.

In my perfect weather world, it would be an Atlanta spring, a Boston summer and fall, and a Dallas winter. That is my idea of the perfect weather.

I don't know how you did it....

I'm a Texas native and constantly whine about how hot it is.
