Hi there, this is my first time posting a thread but looking for some help.
My husband maybe being transferred to dallas we currently live in Orlando (not a fan) one main reason I am not a fan is EVERYTHING is a main road or highway. I travel 35 mins to a Wholefoods to go shopping, biking is hard because you are affraid of getting hit by cars, no culture either.

It has been challenging also here because the job market is filled with jobs that require you to speak spanish which I dont, and feel that I should not have to learn it in order to get a job (maybe my bad)

So I am looking for a walkable town in Dallas with parks to hang out in with my dogs and family, good schools (my children have to go to private here), shopping and rest., a gym maybe, museums (if lucky) you get the point.

My wish list may not exist but if you have any ideas please reply

This Whole Foods is perfect.

Or

The Highland Park Whole Foods on Lemmon at Loma Alto.

If you live nearby, you can easily walk to both - so depends on your house budget, etc.

Also look into Newflower Market - I used to go to Whole Foods but stopped after this market opened up near my house. There is one on Henderson, about 3 miles from the Whole Foods that Lakewooder is talking about. You could really live in between those two and be setup pretty well to walk around.

Not to mention that there's a ton of restaurants within walking distance of that Newflower. I love shopping there!

There's a Whole Foods at Preston and Forest in Dallas; if your kids are going private anyway and your budget is big enough, that is a possibility.

There is also a Whole Foods at Belt Line and Coit in Richardson.

In Dallas a lot of kids do but here in Richardson it does not seem to be as common.

Why are you so fixed on private school? Just curious.
