Thanks. We were so grateful that he made it through December. His birthday is later this month, so we shall see.......but he is retaining fluids now, getting more and more confused, is more tired than he was, losing control of bodily functions......so, it is just day to day now....

I love groupons and use them all the time but they're local for each city. That's why it confuses me as to why it got a sticky here.
A groupon is local business that offer a half price deal. Restaurants will give you $12.00 worth for $6.00 for example.
We also have Deal of the day S.A. which is almost the same thing. Great offers to be found. I've tried lots of new places. Even got a day at the river for half price.

I've never used groupons but I do use the Deal of the Day here in Houston. It's on the Houston Chronicle (newspaper) website. You're right --- there are some great deals there. I've gotten nail appointments for my granddaughters, gun lessons (for me, and I need to use them soon), classes, photos enlarged on textured canvas, and more -- all at half price or less.

I haven't bought gun lessons, but I have bought MYSELF a lesson in glassblowing.....I'll use it when things slow down....... I hardly do anything for myself, so this will be fun!

I'm still waiting on some things I purchased from DailySteals and MidnightBox. I bought them earlier than the stuff I bought recently from 1SaleADay and the 1SaleADay items came quite some time ago. The items from DailySteals and MidnightBox havent even shipped yet.
I'm not complaining. I know I'll get them. I've ordered from DailySteals and MidnightBox in the past and have always been happy. But they're just much slower than 1SaleADay.
