Same here! I have the back door and garden windows open, letting in the cool fresh air!

Went to PreK only to find out there is no school today. NO ONE tells me these things in advance. Of course my daughter didn't leave his clothes out....so I guess she thought I wouldn't take him.

So, I had to drive down to Walmart to pick up some lunch and snacks.

Glad you Texans are finally enjoying some decent weather!!! It's in the 80's here. I doubt we'll see any 50's until early December....may not even see it then. Never know about Florida winters.

Gotta take Izzy to school....will be back in a short bit!

I'm in a really good mood today....wonder what all that is about?

My granddaughters did it to someone they like. I cant imagine that anyone would appreciate it, though.

If your weather is anything like ours here in Texas today, it's understandable that you'd be in a good mood. I'm still praying for rain, of course, but I'll take a nice clear day with cool temps until we finally get some real rain.

It's 62° here right now. Gorgeous weather. We had quite a downpour on Tuesday. I hope Camper and TFW get some of the wet stuff real soon.
My lawn, shrubs and trees are still giggling from the water.

No rain here

But I've been getting some of the stuff I ordered on the 30-minute 1saleadaycom special. One item was a spring-assisted knife. I had thought I could use it if I were in danger when taking Queenie out to the schoolyard late at night. But yikes! I didnt realize how fast the knife blade opens! And I cant figure out how to get it closed without cutting off a finger. It's a big knife too -- too dangerous for me to handle. Thank goodness it was only $1.00.

I need to throw it away but I'm not sure how to do that safely with the blade open. I guess I can wrap the knife with tape and then pack it in shipping peanuts and newspaper in a box. Or maybe I can just keep it in the kitchen for cutting veggies -- except that it's so sharp (much sharper than my ginsu knives) I really worry about cutting a finger off. What do people use a knife like this for anyway???????????

Sounds like a switch blade. I have trouble with those too. There's a certain place you have to push to get it to close. Maybe a neighbor can help you? I saw that and almost ordered it.
