Moving to DE in 2 weeks and will be staying in Smyrna. I am commuting from Smyrna to Newark (Continental Dr, Sallie Mae building) need to be there by 8.

How is the drive up 1? Google puts it at 40 minutes but was hoping to get some real life estimates. Thanks in advance.

I don't know which way (rt.13 or rt.1) you googled but via taking rt.1, I'd say 30 mins tops doing the 65 mph speed limit. During the week rt.1's toll is $1 each way ($2 on the wknds.)

The Sallie Mae bldg. is just off of rt. 1.
