My grandparents lived in this neighborhood in the 1960's; I have fond memories of The Charcoal Pit and Peterson's House of Fudge.
It was a great neighborhood back then...I was wondering if that area has been kept up.

Yes. It is a very prestigious neighborhood. The golf course offers a lot of tranquility and cache. It and several other communities (Sharpley, Tavistock, Edenridge) in N. Wilmington are among the more popular choices for families moving up. Houses are selling between $599-899k in general. However, there is a house for sale at 2.5 million - it's the old farmhouse named Young House.

Concord Pike/Route 202 has built up quite a bit since the 1960's. It is now a major 6 lane route with lots of commercial development.

Thanks for your response! I have fond memories of Woodbrook, Foulkstone Rd. and the creepy crypt tower with the walls that had glass shards embedded in the top.
