C5's are surprisingly quiet; not an issue, even when they do low level landings. The Huey's and Marine One type helicopters are a bit noisier but they seem to take extra care when and where they fly.

I did swear like crazy one night when the helicopters came through at midnight or so, only to find out the next morning that the Prez had gone to Dover to witness the arrival of our fallen hero's. Seemed unpatriotic to be mad after that.

Dover AFB is a good neighbor.

There don't seem to be really good places for hiding out (or else they just don't try very hard), so if you don't go too fast, you can spot them and decrease your speed in plenty of time.
Coming off the toll road part of Rt1 which is 65 mph it is easy to keep going at that rate. I have seen people pulled over however.

Thank you for the above information, but i'm interested in obtaining information regarding quality of life issues, such as crime, and most importantly, is it a family living. Schools, youth activities, and homes.

There are several threads dealing with quality of life issues. I'd suggest you use the search function to access threads on Dover, in addition to reading through the other Dover threads that are currently going. There's loads of Delaware info on this forum overall -- one can only repeat the same thing over and over again so many times.
