Cranky people! I think the weather is similiar enough you can deal with it. Although I love ABQ, too!

Since my wife is from Prescott, I've spent quite a bit of time there during the past 30 years at different times of the year. IMO, the weather of Prescott is more comparable to the weather of Denver than it is to the weather in Phoenix. Unless you love oppressive HEAT, for many months of the year, I firmly believe that you would regret moving to Phoenix. Certainly you would need to make an adjustment to the harsher winters of Denver, but that is a MUCH smaller adjustment than getting used to the persistent heat of Phoenix. To me anyway, Denver is a no brainer in this situation.

im considering the move from MA to Co and will gladly trade our winter for yours.
Its also too congested here so a ton of snow, no space and no where to go make for cranky New Englanders..

Not exactly the nicest people in the country..

Also our summers are pretty humid, and more so than ever lately. You sweat in the shower..
Give me the dry air, 100 or 10 degrees... i dont care.

Thats why people are so infatuated with sports here.. there's nothing else to hang your hat on and they live vicariously through sporting events, contemplating on whether or not to jump off a bridge if their team loses a game.
I mean, sure theres history and stuff.. but really, unless you've got a cozy place on the coast near the water, it sucks here. Of course people go through fazes and have to live the "cambridge life".. Then that ends and they're stuck with nothing..

sorry, venting..

CO seems like an awesome climate! and on "bad weather days" at least you can look at the rockies, or better yet, go into them?? less of that "stuck" feeling.. or SHINING feeling???

Wow, nice blizzard of '82 pics! That'll keep the riffraff out.
