Is North Sable a high trafficky road. I guess what I'm trying to ask, in the winter whenever there is accumulating snow, will the road be plowed or is it considered a side street? Also, what would the drive be from city lights to the hospital during snow. This coming from a southerner who rarely sees snow, much less driving through it, LOL!

Kind of. It's not one of the "main" streets like Chambers or Buckley but it does get a fair amount of traffic. I haven't actually been on that exact road in the snow, but it seems like the kind of road they would plow. It's the residential neighborhood streets that often don't get plowed out all. I'd suggest reading up some of the forum archives with threads about snow in Denver and driving in the snow-- a lot of good information there. I find the biggest challenge in snow storms isn't the driving itself, it's getting your car out in the first place. The biggest issue I've encountered with apartment complexes and snow is while they usually plow a drive path through the center of the parking lot, most complexes usually don't plow the spaces, so unless if you have garage parking you could easily spend over a half hour just digging out a path to get into your car, shoving & scraping the snow off your car, and digging a path to back up. Then invariably when you come back home some jack *** steals your parking space and you spend more time digging out a new parking space. Sometimes getting stuck in the space and spending up to an hour digging, rocking back and forth, and cursing, unless if you have 4WD.

The adventures of a 4 season climate.
